All Region Clinic/Concert, 12/6

The students who made the All-Region band have their clinic and concert on Friday, 12/6 at the PAC. All students from the other schools who also made the bands will also be there. All KJHS students need to wear jeans and their band T-shirt to the PAC this day. Students need to be dropped off at the PAC by 8:15am. Mrs. Macias and I will be at the PAC by 7:30 in case you need to drop your student off earlier. The region is paying for lunch on Friday for the kids. Dinner is on your own. All KISD students will need to be picked up from the PAC by 4:45pm to go home and eat dinner as well as change into their concert attire. KJHS band students will wear their black shoes, black pants, and black shirts that they wore for the concerts last year. If you have any questions about the dress attire, please let me know so I can clarify. The new concert uniforms are being delivered on Monday, 12/2 for any students that do not have one.

All directors from across the region will be in attendance at the PAC for this event. As site host, we provide breakfast and drinks in the directors lounge. We will have a cooler for soft drinks and waters. We are in need of breakfast casseroles, burritos, bacon, and any other breakfast items. If any parents want to donate, that would be excellent and most appreciated! Food can be delivered from 7:30-8:15am. If you can and want to donate, please let me know so I can keep a count of what is coming in. I will jump over to the HS parents for help if needed, but since this is a JH event, I wanted to get it covered with JH parents.

Since we will also have 200 kids from across the region at our PAC, some extra eyes would always be nice to have as well. We will need parents from 8am-3pm. If you can come for any period of time, please let me know. These can be done in shifts if you’d like. Director’s Lounge (1-2 people): 8am-noon (set up); noon-3 (tear down)
General eyes and lunch servers (4-5 people): 11:15-2
Our biggest coverage time will be lunch and the few breaks throughout the day.
